Biblical Family
Advocates Goes to Europe

San Diego, California, Sept 27th
Biblical
Family Advocates, an organization dedicated
to challenging churches and the community around
the world with Biblical morality plans to be in
Europe for many years. They have been based in
San Diego speaking in churches and at community
events, along with radio and TV interviews, but
have felt the call to other lands.
“We have gone to Hungary several times and have
been greeted with more requests to speak on the
important matters of abortion, homosexuality and
embryonic stem cell research. We are very glad
that we can from Budapest Hungary visit many
other European countries that also need to be
given information that encourage families and
churches to support the growth of godly
families.” So says Phil Magnan, director and
President of Biblical Family Advocates.
Joined by his wife Diane, they intend to network
with area churches in Hungary with the hope that
many churches will catch the vision for Biblical
families and morality.
They also intend to
support the growth of pro life pregnancy care
centers in Hungary, whose abortion rate is very
high. According to that countries government
statistics, nearly 60% of all pregnancies in
Hungary end in abortion. “We have been very
encouraged by the pioneering work of Ed and
Susan Bergs of Shout for Life who for many years
has operated the only pregnancy care center in
Hungary. Over that time they have not only saved
many babies from abortion, but have been a part
of bringing others to Christ.”
Says Magnan
Magnan continued
“One of the
great keys to success in Hungary has been those
churches who have supported and encouraged our
work, like Calvary Chapel Budapest. Those vital
connections are vital to the continued strength
of what we see as a growing movement in Hungary
and Europe. That movement is made up of
Christian family advocates who understand that
the survival of Europe rests on whether there is
a return to Christianity and its foundational
roots of morality.” |
