Biblical Family Advocates is extremely concerned
over the vast loss of life due to abortion
worldwide. The shocking numbers of abortion
worldwide is understood by looking at the
statistics for America. These statistics reveal
that there are far more abortions in America
than was first believed. According to statistics
found in a well documented publication Infant
Homicides through Contraception, By Bogomir
Kuhar, Pharm.D. it states that there are
“7,905,000 to 13,025,000 chemical, mechanical
and surgical abortions in the USA annually.”
Even more startling is the fact that the figures
are actually conservative, so the rate of
abortion in America could be much higher. The
U.S. current rate of surgical abortion is about
1.3 million per year. This figure does not take
into consideration these other methods of
abortion.
The 34th anniversary of Roe v Wade
that helped to legalize abortion in America is
coming up next week on January 22nd
causing many still wonder why so many children
must die in the world, especially in America.
Phil Magnan, Director of Biblical Family
Advocates had this to say, “It really makes one
think that if the world is aborting 46 million
children a year by surgical abortion, what are
the real figures on the use of other forms of
abortion? It is already bad enough that we are
surgically aborting 1 Billion children every 22
years. Now we have to face a very grim fact,
that the number of abortions world wide, are
much higher than we thought, into the billions.”

Magnan continued, “When will the parents decide
that killing their child to make life better is
not the solution? Most women are making these
kinds of heart breaking decisions ignorant of
the dangers of surgical abortion. So many
believe they are not killing children when using
abortifacient drugs and IUD’s. There is such a
desperate need to reconsider the way we look at
human life, economics and even the way
governments are run, that creates an environment
in which people believe the best way to succeed
is to kill their own children.”
Biblical Family Advocates believes this
devastating global problem of abortion is also
tied deeply to its own lack of belief in a
Creator that forbids the taking of innocent
human life in the womb. Magnan continued “The
horrific toll of carnage around the world is one
that must be addressed by a change of heart and
a whole new way of living by following the One,
who knows sacrificial love best, Jesus Christ.
His paramount virtue of loving your neighbor
calls the world to goodness, self sacrifice and
compassion.”
